Technology and Healthy Lifestyle

We hear all the time about how technology is bad for us. Since the introduction of computers. Even people working on app development have the same issues, we spend more time sitting at a desk than moving around at work. We have created this sedentary lifestyle that is causing havoc in our overall life.

In the hectic schedule of life, keeping a track of our diet is easier said than done. Legion working professionals and even homemakers tend to forget the need of investing time for the benefit of their own health and lifestyle. In this competitive era, posterity is majorly stressed and anxious about their performance in academics and continuously ignoring the thought of maintaining the right intake for leading a healthy life. Hence, obesity, heart problems, and many more harmful disease have surrounded them.

In today’s day and age, fitness apps come in handy to log daily routines and help us to maintain and upgrade our lifestyles. These apps suggest the customized exercises as per the details added in profile created. It shares a great support to track our physical activities like walk per day and intakes through out the day.

According to a survey done by Arizona State University (ASU) in United States, which is How Technology Is Helping Health and Wellness Providers and Promote Healthy Lifestyle Choices. And the results they get is health and wellness technology and tools can help patients and healthcare professionals manage and prevent diabetes and heart disease. 96% of health apps user believe the apps help improve their quality of life. The examples of health apps that being use is Disease Management Apps, such as DoseCast, and MediSafe. 

In conclusion, technology have their own strength and weaknesses it is us who use it need to control ourselves from being a slave of technology and make our health become worse such as obesity, and others. We as users should use it to maintain our health by using health apps such as  the apps that can calculate your calorie to remain healthy despite of hectic life you face.

    Tq for the nice sharing janatul..yaa i agree that technology have their weakness and strength..for instance its make life easier but can make the health weaknesses..so as the tertier student we should learn how to balance to use the technology and also aware about the healthy life so that we also can achieve our dream to become beneficial person

  3. In my opinion, with the advance of technology nowadays, we actually earn more benefit as we use it wisely. Smart wear like Mi band or apple watch which function as a tracker, keep tracing one's heartbeat, walking distance and remind his owner to move around if he or she sit too long time(one hour). I believe such function actually increase or improve one's healthy which justify my statement earlier, technology bring more advantage if we use it wisely.

  4. True enough that today's technology has made its way through alot of changes and upgrades. But one of the most useful things I find about technology is that it helps keep track of our daily routine and lifestyle. This way, it would be hard for us to stray away from a healthy lifestyle.

  5. I believe that everything comes with advantages and disadvantages. The argument of technology brings benefits or defects to the society is still going on. However, I think that it depends on the way we utilise the technology as to make it into a benefit or destruction. Hence, it is advisable for us to be wise in using technology.

  6. Yes, I agree that technologies provide us with various channels and information to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, I think that what makes us healthy the most is stepping out from our indoor compound, getting rid of our gadgets, and start doing outdoor activities.

  7. I do agree that technology making our life easier but we doing more out door activities in order maintain our health cause staying for hours infront of computer are not good for our health. But nice sharing Janatul, I just know that nowadays we do have apps to measure certain disease.

  8. Yes, I do agree that technology brings a lot of benefits for human health. And more diseases can be detected faster and accurate with new technology. Most of my friends will also wearing a smart watch to maintain their body health through observe their sleeping quality, heart beat, and so on.
